We're Going to be Backpack Buddies!

Our GWOH 2026 project is "Backpack Buddies".

We'll be filling backpacks with food and essential personal items for distribution to children in need at our neighborhood elementary school, Tanglewood.

Our goal is 50 backpacks filled!

Come, join us after service on Sunday, September 13 to fill the backpacks.

To contribute items, check the guide for what is needed and drop them off at the church office Monday—Friday, 9A–1P.
To contribute funds, please do so through Zeffy Just $10 provides one child with a weekend's worth of food.

“God’s Work. Our Hands.” Sunday began in 2013 in connection with the ELCA’s 25th anniversary. It continues to be an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the ELCA — one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.
