20 Ideas for Holy Week

Ben Meyer, in his blog "Baptized into Christ", offers some ideas that you might consider during Holy Week.

See his list: 20 Ideas for Holy Week.

"Take, eat...."
"Take, drink...."

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son who on this night gave us the Lord's Supper, the Holy Eucharist, the Great Thanksgiving as means of God's unending grace.

Christ welcomes all, opening His arms wide, wide upon a cross so that all might have life in Him.

Join us Maundy Thursday , March 28, 7PM for divine service using the order of service Holden's Evening Prayer where we will celebrate His, the Lord's Supper, as well as do as He did for his disciples: practice the washing of feet (or hands).  At the conclusion of the service the sanctuary will be stripped of its paraments and other symbols in sign of Christ's death.

And it was the third hour and they crucified him.

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son....

Christ welcomes all, opening His arms wide, wide upon a cross so that all might have life in Him.

Join us Good Friday, March 29, 7PM for a Service of Light & Darkness: The Passion According to John which ends in silence as we journey with Christ to the tomb.

Alleluia! He is Risen!

He is Risen, Indeed!

Alleluia

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son who on this day rose and conquered death.

The tomb is empty. Our salvation and life everlasting won by Christ's resurrection.

Join us Easter Sunday, March 31, 10:30AM as we celebrate our new life, life eternal in Christ in a festive service including the celebration of Holy Communion.
